Refund & Returns Policy

At Allans Cakes and Bakery, we take pride in the quality and freshness of our cakes, baked goods, and café items. Because our products are perishable and made fresh daily, we have the following refund policy in place.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

Incorrect Orders

If you receive an item that is different from what you ordered, please notify our staff immediately. We will happily replace the item or provide a refund.

Quality Issues

If you are not satisfied due to a genuine quality concern, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase. You may be asked to provide:

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

  • A photo of the product

  • Return of the product where possible

Once assessed, we may offer:

  • A replacement product

  • Store credit

  • A full or partial refund

Custom Cake Orders

Custom cakes are made to order and require significant preparation time.

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Cancellations made more than a week before pickup may receive a partial refund (excluding deposit)

  • Cancellations made within a week of pickup are non-refundable

  • If there is an error with your custom cake that does not match the confirmed order, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue

Allergy & Dietary Information

While we take care with ingredient handling, our kitchen processes common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs. Refunds will not be provided for allergy-related concerns.

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Please allow 3–5 business daysfor processing.
